Simply by carrying the key, you can lock and unlock the doors and start the engine.

Entry function
You can lock and unlock the doors and open the trunk lid without inserting the key in the keyholes. For further information, see “Side doors” on page 41 and “Trunk lid” on page 51 in this Section.

The power windows and moon roof can be closed by operating the lock button on the driver’s outside door handle. For further information, see “Power windows” on page 46 and “Electric moon roof” on page 60 in this Section.

If the smart entry and start system does not operate properly because of a system malfunction, consult your Toyota dealer. Make sure to bring all of the keys. They may be necessary to repair the system.
